About This Role:
The Associate Director, Launch Excellence and Change Management is a key execution-focused role within Business Insights & Operations (BI&O) - Biogen North America’s (BNA) largest organization. This role will help Lead commercial enablement readiness for Biogen North America launches within Business Intelligence & Operations (BI&O). Bring teams together to anticipate launch needs, build a coordinated plan and deliver the capabilities each launch requires.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Operations, partner with the BI&O Strategy & Operations team, therapeutic area (TA) S&O leads, and BI&O functional heads and teams to drive delivery and adoption. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly proactive, executive-ready operator - someone who can create structure in ambiguity, build momentum across a matrix, and is able to proactively plan, identify, and remove roadblocks for key requirements to ensure launch success.

What You’ll Do:

1. Launch Planning
- ## Translate TA launch priorities into one BI&O plan with clear owners, milestones, dependencies and resource needs.
- ## Use prior launch experience to surface requirements teams have not yet identified and resolve gaps with functional owners.

2. Commercial Enablement Readiness
- ## Coordinate field readiness, including training and CRM, and Decision Sciences needs such as targeting, data availability and launch dashboards.
- ## Align Marketing Operations and Omnichannel timelines for agency onboarding, promotional review, content delivery and channel activation; connect Patient Services and Digital Operations dependencies as needed.

3. Execution and Issue Resolution
- ## Run readiness reviews, follow through on commitments and resolve handoff gaps. Escalate risks and resource conflicts with clear recommendations.
- ## Keep BI&O milestones aligned with TA launch plans; confirm capabilities are ready for use and resolve early post-launch issues.

4. Change Management and Adoption
- ## Lead change plans for launches and priority BI&O initiatives: identify affected teams, clarify new responsibilities, and coordinate communications, training and support.
- ## Track adoption and address barriers with team leads. Turn launch lessons into practical checklists and playbooks for the next launch.

Who You Are:
- ## Demonstrated ability to build and run tight operating rhythms and drive decisions through forums and follow-through.
- ## Excellent executive communication skills - exceptional writing, synthesis, and the ability to drive alignment through clarity.
- ## Strong project management and communication skills; able to anticipate issues, challenge assumptions and secure delivery across teams without direct authority.
- ## Comfort working with data and analytics at a practical level (framing KPIs, basic analyses, impact sizing), without requiring the role to be deeply technical.
- ## High ownership mindset, strong judgment, and ability to navigate ambiguity with pace and discipline.

Required Skills:
- ## Bachelor’s degree required ; MBA highly preferred .
8+ years in pharma, biotech or life sciences consulting.
- ## H ands-on commercial enablement for a U.S. product launch.
- ## Working knowledge of field operations, Decision Sciences, Marketing Operations and Omnichannel, including how their launch activities depend on one another.
- Experience leading change through rollout and adoption of new tools, processes or ways of working.
- Hybrid expectation: Cambridge, MA — in office ~3 days/week .
Preferred Skills:
- ## Top-tier strategy consulting experience with meaningful change/transformation exposure.
- ## Experience in managing cross-functional engagement and governance.

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $159,000.00-$219,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
