Family Assistant &  House Manager

Location: Greene Family Home

Reports to: Nina Ortiz

Position Type: Full time+ ( schedule adjusts based on family needs)

Role Overview

The Family Assistant / House Manager serves as the primary support for the Greene household, ensuring that daily operations, family logistics, and home rhythms run smoothly and  proactively. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role designed to create order, ease, and preparedness in the home. The right candidate anticipates needs and manages details with excellence allowing the family to focus on what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

Household Operations

- Maintain daily and weekly flow of the home (organization, light resets, upkeep)

- Manage mail, packages, and general household organization

- Meal prep on a weekly basis

- Keep personal and household items stocked and accessible

Family Logistics

- Coordinate boys’ schedules (school, activities, practices)

- Responsible for school drop-offs and pickups

- Responsible for homework, school projects, and helping the boys stay on top of their learning

- Plan and execute boys birthday parties and family events

- Provide coverage during travel or schedule gaps

Inventory & Errands

- Manage household inventory and restocking (groceries, supplies, essentials)

- Execute weekly grocery ordering

- Assist with errands (pickups, returns, etc.)

Travel & Preparation

- Prepare items and logistics for boys’ activities and travel

- Support family travel readiness and organization

Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate contractors and home service providers

- Oversee scheduling and completion of household projects

Childcare Support

- Provide occasional extended or weekend support when required

Qualifications

- Experience in household management, childcare, or personal assistance

- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills

- Excellent communication and a professional, positive demeanor

- High level of discretion and trustworthiness

- Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative

- Comfortable with basic technology (calendar, communication tools)

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Flexible availability (including occasional evenings/weekends)
