DEPARTMENT: Rack Fabrication

JOB TITLE: Rack Fabricator

REPORTS TO: Rack Fabrication Team Leader

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS : 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Fri) 5:00 Am- 1:00 Pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.

STARTING PAY: $ 18.12 per hour.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

- Follow blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds
- Maintain productivity within assigned section(s) of rack building/ repair Welding booths, drill press, sander, chop saw, rack repair station, vertical saw, and/ or pin assembly station

- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.
- Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.
- Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.
- Able to participate in a collaborative environment.
- Comply with safety policies and procedures.
- Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.

What You Will Need:

- HS Diploma/GED
- Must also pass a skills-based test.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
- Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
