2nd Shift - Floor Scrubber

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks

Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule

Empty and clean warehouse trash containers

Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors

Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule

Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Ability to operate forklift. Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements

- Prefer prior sanitation and/or forklift experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

On the job training regarding the operation of power scrubber, handling of chemical cleaners, and forklift operation

Standing- to complete most all tasks

Walking

Climbing- to get to parts department, when using ladder

Reaching- to perform activities

Kneeling- to perform work activities at low levels

Crawling- to perform work activities under equipment

Bending/stooping- to pick up tools or parts

Twisting- to perform work activities

Pinch- to use tools

- Grasping/handling- using tools

Must be able to work with arms above head for short periods of time

- Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre requisite program requirements.
