PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator – Site Investigations will support the program-wide coordination of site investigations, with a primary focus on managing the flow of subcontractor deliverables from submission through design review, acceptance and final publication. The role will help maintain complete, traceable and accessible investigation records within the project’s digital environment while supporting related design, procurement, permitting and subcontractor workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor site investigation package status across all projects, from expected report submission through design review, acceptance, and final publication.
- Coordinate with project PMs and coordinators to ensure subcontractor deliverables are shared via the correct channels and distributed to design for review.
- Track design reviews, comments, resubmissions and acceptance, following up on outstanding actions and escalating unresolved gaps.
- Publish accepted deliverables to the shared project folders, supporting controlled distribution to design teams and the client while maintaining document traceability.
- Assist the Site Investigations team with general coordination activities, including organizing design request packages and tracking design, procurement, permit and subcontractor actions.
- Support with other duties as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday during regular office or site hours. At times, operational needs may require work outside these hours, with reasonable notice provided. All schedule or on call adjustments will comply with applicable employment standards legislation. It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.
DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES
- Student or recent graduate with a background relevant to design, construction, project coordination, document control or information management.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Autodesk Forma/ACC or similar document-management platforms is an asset.
- Strong interest in supporting large infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with GTAA or other major airport procedures is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for RAIC clearance required.
