Job Title: Order Entry Clerk Job Description This contract Order Entry Clerk position focuses on accurately entering and maintaining order information, supporting inventory and clerical processes, and delivering reliable customer service. - Enter customer orders accurately into the order entry system and verify all required information is complete and correct.
- Update, maintain, and organize order records and related documentation to ensure data is current and easily accessible.
- Support inventory-related activities by recording order quantities and assisting with tracking product availability.
- Perform general clerical tasks, such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents related to orders and inventory.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers to clarify order details, resolve basic order-related issues, and provide status updates.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other order-related documents.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely order processing.
- Assist with customer service activities by responding to inquiries, providing information about orders, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience with order entry and data entry in a clerical or administrative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and reviewing data.
- Basic inventory awareness and the ability to support inventory tracking activities.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including working with documents, spreadsheets, and email.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work efficiently in a structured environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a clerical or office-based role involving order processing or inventory support.
- Comfort working with computer-based systems and learning new order entry or inventory tools.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly records and documentation.
Work Environment This is a contract position in a professional office setting where you primarily work with computer-based order entry and Microsoft Office tools. The role involves regular interaction with internal teams and customers via email or phone, as well as handling clerical tasks such as filing and organizing documents. You can expect a structured, process-driven environment focused on accuracy, timely order processing, and clear communication.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
