The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program)

Fidelity’s full-time, paid, 10-week FIDTERN Program offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team.

The Role

Our Audit, Risk, and Compliance groups protect the interests of our customers, associates, and Fidelity's outstanding brand. Internship opportunities include roles such as Corporate Audit, IT Audit, Enterprise Risk, Technology Risk, Enterprise Compliance, Compliance Technology and Fidelity Global Security (FGS). This role is for candidates interested in playing a key role in protecting the firm, proactively identifying issues before they arrive at our doorstep, and being the ethical standard of the organization.

Audit is a great role for students who are problem solvers, possess intellectual curiosity, and enjoy analyzing information & complex data sets. As an Audit Intern, you will gain exposure by working directly on audit throughout planning, testing/data analysis, and documenting plus communicating findings to management.

Risk is a great role for students who want to focus on the regulatory and operational side of managing financial risk, flagging accounts with suspicious withdrawal/funds, and/or potentially investigate financial crimes.

Compliance is a great role for students interested in navigating and managing the regulatory landscape, diving into policies and procedures, risk assessment, and reporting.  ​

Fidelity Global Security (FGS) is a great role for students who are interested in criminal justice/security and want to contribute to keeping our Fidelity associates safe in collaboration with our team of Fidelity security professionals.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Current college student (undergraduate or graduate) who will return to coursework after their summer internship
- Availability for entire 10-week program from June 7th, 2027 - August 13th, 2027

The base salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
