Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 9am-5pm

STR Bucks County is an outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment program in Levittown, Pennsylvania, offering partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and supportive housing for adults navigating substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders.

Position Summary
The Program Manager oversees the Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) team at a designated facility. Their
responsibilities include training, scheduling, and immediate supervision of the team. Additionally, they collaborate with
the Executive Director to maintain client safety and customer service. The Program Manager also provides support for
both staff and clients through various clinical and administrative activities, with the goal of achieving optimal client
outcomes.

Relationships and Contacts
Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with team members throughout all levels
of the facility.

Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains professional therapeutic engagement with clients/families, clinical
providers, referral partners and vendors as needed and directed.

Position Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
1. Provides immediate supervision for BHTs in the oversite of clients ensuring client safety.
2. Participates in hiring process, training, coaching, mentoring, and completes annual employee evaluations.
3. Leads meetings for the BHTs team and engages team in performance improvement activities.
4. Collaborates with the Director and represents BHTs team in Treatment Team, Leadership, and other meetings as
required.
5. Understands the organizations vision and strategic goals.
6. Ensures contract compliance and program quality according to local state and federal laws, as well as best
practices.
7. Ensures that the values and cultural beliefs are taken into account when assisting with the treatment of the
clients.
8. Monitors program goals in alignment with established policies and procedures.
9. Promotes client involvement in the treatment facility; supports clients throughout their treatment journey.
10. Performs routine forms of daily client care while assisting and ensuring timely and effective clinical activities,
charting and orientation completion.
11. Collaborates with the Clinical Director to ensure appropriate emotional support is provided to clients.
12. Communicates pertinent client information to the Clinical team in a timely manner.
13. Maintains timely/clinically appropriate documentation, ensuring BHTs are trained in and adhere to
documentation processes.
14. Assists with the timely completion of administrative duties, including but not limited to checklists, answering
phones, mail distribution, scheduling.
15. Assists with the timely completion of housekeeping duties, including cleaning of facilities (i.e., taking out trash,
loading and unloading dishwasher, laundry, running errands and other duties as assigned).
16. Represents the BHTs team in treatment team meetings, leadership meetings, and other meetings as needed.
17. Conducts tours for clients, family members, students, visitors, as requested.
18. Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities.

19. Serves as a trainer and mentor to the BHTs, providing coaching for continuous quality improvement.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Functions within the guidelines of the facilitys Code of Ethics and in accordance with corporate compliance.
2. Conducts chart audits following program policy timelines, as requested.
3. Consistently arrives to work on time, rarely missing scheduled shifts, and promptly notifies supervisor when
absent.
4. Demonstrates an ability to adapt to changes in the facility function, management styles, and facility routines.
5. Reads, understands, adheres to, and models all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of
interests.
6. Maintains positive attitude and acts as a team player with others on the treatment team.
7. Attends all supervisory trainings within assigned time frames as required by the facility.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
Position requires a bachelors degree, a minimum 2 years experience in the Health & Human Service Field, preferably
within a behavioral healthcare treatment setting and 1+ years of supervision experience.

Additional Requirements
 Position requires incumbent to have a valid drivers license, vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record.
 Clearance of criminal background, TB test, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
 Current CPR and First Aid certification

 Demonstrates the ability to lead group(s) and mentors BHTs in these efforts.
