About the Role:

As a Compensation Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day administration and operations of the organization’s compensation programs, ensuring processes, data, and systems are accurate, efficient, and consistently maintained. You will support compensation cycles, maintain compensation data and systems, coordinate reporting and audits, and assist with market benchmarking and compensation program administration.

You will be part of the People team and report directly to the Manager, Compensation. This role will sit in NYC and be 3 days in the office.

You Will:

- Support the day-to-day administration and operations of compensation programs, ensuring processes are completed accurately, consistently, and within established timelines.
- Manage compensation-related data and transactions within HRIS and compensation systems.
- Support the administration of annual compensation processes, including merit increases, promotions, incentive planning, and other compensation cycles.
- Maintain and validate compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity across HR systems, compensation tools, reports, and employee records.
- Prepare compensation reports, audits, and data files for HR, Finance, Payroll, and other stakeholders, identifying discrepancies and working to resolve data issues.
- Perform regular data audits and quality checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, or transactions requiring correction.
- Coordinate compensation-related workflows and approvals, ensuring requests are properly documented, routed, approved, and processed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Support market pricing and compensation analysis by gathering data, maintaining job and compensation information, preparing benchmarking files, and compensation data updates.
- Assist with compensation reporting and analytics, including recurring reports, ad hoc requests, employee data analysis, and preparation of information for compensation reviews.
- Maintain compensation documentation and process materials, including job information, salary structures, compensation guidelines, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes and operational efficiency, including opportunities to automate, standardize, simplify, and strengthen controls.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s rewards and recognition platform, including program administration, employee and manager support, data accuracy, reporting, and ongoing system updates to ensure a seamless user experience.

You Have:

- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to manage high volumes of sensitive information and identify discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Working knowledge in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) or Google Sheets
- Excellent analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data and capability to independently problem solve and make recommendations with high attention to detail
- Process-oriented mindset, with an interest in creating consistent, efficient, and scalable processes and maintaining strong operational controls.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and other cross-functional partners.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues that require additional compensation expertise or decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000
