Join Our Team:

We are searching for a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Southside Family Practice! Focus on delivering high-quality care in a supportive, physician-led environment!

Opportunity:

- Full-time opening

- Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

- Call: 1 - 2 nights a week and 1 weekend per month (very slow call/low volume. Many nights no calls at all).

- Eligible for our full-time Benefits package.

- Fun, friendly, casual office with a focus on geriatric patient care.

- 30 minute visits.

- 1 - 2 years + of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience is strongly preferred.

- Experience working with a geriatric patient population is strongly preferred.

- Outpatient focused clinical practice

Day-to-Day:

- Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members

- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients

- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments

- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner

- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education

- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)

- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team

- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives

Qualifications:

- Masters Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Masters Degree

- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)

- Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)

- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
