As a Housekeeping Aide at Chartwell, you’ll help ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable and sanitary environment they can truly call home. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and care for our community will make a positive difference every day.
What You’ll Do

- Clean, dust, and disinfect resident suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, furniture, and kitchenettes

- Maintain cleanliness in all common areas and offices

- Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently

- Operate floor machines and robots

- Keep utility and storage rooms organized, clean, and safe

- Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols

What You’ll Bring

- Secondary School education or relevant experience

- Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in a residential or healthcare setting

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to exceeding expectations

- Ability to stay organized and maintain a safe, efficient work environment

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

- Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment

- Preparedness to respond to emergency situations

- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
