Job Title: HR Operations Coordinator Job Description The HR Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day HR administration and onboarding activities, ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations. This role maintains accurate employee records, coordinates new hire onboarding, processes HR documentation, supports compliance initiatives, and assists with various HR operational projects. The position is ideal for someone with prior HR coordination or HR administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and a solid background working with HR systems and confidential employee data. Responsibilities

- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and accurately enter all relevant information into HRIS systems.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain employment documentation, including I-9 forms, offer-related paperwork, and onboarding records.
- Manage relocation documentation and reimbursement processes in alignment with established policies.
- Process invoices and payments for contractors, interns, and HR vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain up-to-date employee information and records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generate employment verification letters and other employee documentation as requested.
- Monitor and track compliance requirements, including I-9 reverifications and contract renewals, and follow up as needed.
- Support internal and external HR audits by gathering documentation, preparing reports, and responding to audit inquiries.
- Manage inquiries received through the HR shared inbox, providing prompt and professional responses or routing requests appropriately.
- Assist with HR reporting by compiling data, preparing summaries, and supporting analysis of HR metrics.
- Contribute to HR process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and helping implement changes.
- Support additional HR operational projects as assigned, collaborating with HR team members and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills

- 1-4 years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, employee onboarding, payroll support, or administrative support.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining confidential employee information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with HR systems or tools in a professional environment.
- Ability to follow established HR processes and compliance requirements accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation and responding to employee inquiries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems for maintaining employee data and supporting HR processes.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for managing candidate information and hiring workflows.
- Experience with payroll systems and basic payroll support activities.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar enterprise HR platforms.
- Interest in HR process improvement and contributing to more efficient HR operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an HR team and build positive working relationships across the organization.
- Motivation to grow a career in human resources and use this role as a strong entry point into the HR function.

Work Environment This position is fully onsite, working standard business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role is based in a professional office environment with regular interaction with HR team members, employees, and vendors. You will work extensively with HR technologies such as HRIS, ATS, payroll systems, and tools like SAP SuccessFactors, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. The environment offers a structured setting that is a great way to get your foot in the door within human resources and gain broad exposure to HR operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Ypsilanti, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
