PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This role supports day-to-day coordination of distributor network activity, distributor inventory monitoring, order guide updates, promotional item support, depletion tracking, product transition assistance, and data entry accuracy across supporting systems. The position reports to the Director of Supply Chain.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support inventory management practices for critical portfolio items, including monitoring distributor and supplier activity and escalating concerns as needed.

- Monitor distributor inventory levels to support both new and existing restaurant operations.

- Assist with daily product substitutions and outages, helping ensure corrective actions and pricing updates are completed based on root cause.

- Maintain up-to-date order guides for all product categories, ensuring accuracy across systems.

- Support the cross-functional approval process for product substitutions and help keep the internal approval guide current.

- Manage and ensure data integrity of support systems such as Arrowstream and Crunchtime, including entering replacement and new items and confirming proper item setup for reporting accuracy.

- Support tracking of performance metrics for promotional items.

- Assist supply chain leadership, operators, and distribution centers (DCs) during new restaurant openings, including processing opening orders and supporting pre-opening inventory planning and order guide setup.

- Support additional responsibilities as dictated by business needs.

Requirements and Competencies

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to help identify issues and support corrective actions.

- Good written and verbal communication.

- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to take on tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Physical Activities: Primarily performed in an office environment. Involves entering and retrieving information on a computer and visually verifying details, often in small print.

- Travel: Occasional visits to local stores.

Technical Experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.

- Ability to quickly learn new business software.

Industry Experience: Prior experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting/Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus .

Travel: Occasional visits to local stores.
