Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Help Desk Technician to support Navy DUSN(M) IT DSS program .

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing advanced technical support and ensuring the operational readiness of critical network infrastructure. This role focuses on advanced hardware and software troubleshooting, with specialized expertise required for diagnosing and resolving complex issues on NMCI and Nautilus assets and networks including troubleshooting VLANs and Port activations.

Additionally, the Senior Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting printers, CAT5-6, Fiber, and managing Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems to facilitate seamless mission communications. While managing high-level escalations, the Senior Help Desk Technician (Tier 3) shall maintain daily operational workflows by actively answering customer support calls, resolving daily IT tickets, and performing standard Tier 3 help desk responsibilities to ensure comprehensive, end-to-end user support.

Required Qualifications:

Experience/Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology experience.

- Experience working with a team in a help desk environment.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing.

- Positive customer service attitude.

Required Certifications:

- CompTia SEC+ certification or equivalent that meets DoD 8140/8570.01‑M foundational qualification requirements.

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
