About this role

Join Ecolab’s sales and service team as an Operations Planning Specialist (OPS) The Operations Planning Team (OPT) plays a key role in supporting our sales and service team that provides comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the food service and hospitality industries. It reports to the Service Operations group and serves as a coordinator for 300+ field associates by organizing service assignments and delegating work via a dispatch queue. This role is an expert in driving operational excellence and optimization of our field team’s ability to deliver best-in-class solutions for our customers.

What You Will Do :   Note: The OPS schedules WO for all field associates.

- Responsible for processing and assigning high-volume service requests and corporate account rollout requests. Edit all incoming service requests to ensure we are allotting the proper time for each job.

- Schedule events for the SR team first, and if they are unavailable, arrange them for the Territory rep. Follow up with SR to Open and Close WOs while on-site.

- Efficiently dispatch service technicians to customer locations, ensuring prioritization of service requests. Corporate accounts and VAST requests.

- Develop and maintain schedules to ensure proper utilization of the SR / TR team, adjusting as needed depending on customer needs. Work with SR / TR team to reschedule jobs that could not be completed due to equipment or customer delays

- Optimize service technician hours, availability, and accountability. Follow up with SR/TR requests that are past due and ensure that they are closed on time.

- Collaborate with the Service Operations Manager to plan schedules and execute large-scale rollouts for Corporate Accounts.
- Work with Area Leadership to ensure Grow, and Gain initiatives are met.
- Continually partner with the field to solve problems and influence operations to drive field effectiveness. Prioritizing Service Requests
- Rescheduling service requests based on customer and Field level requests
- Optimize schedule to ensure that equipment and EDP assets arrive before the requested date of the service appointment.

Position Details

This position has the option to be located:

- The following time Zones are an option.  Pacific, Rocky Mtn and Central time zones are needed.
- Must have the ability to work a rotating weekend coverage schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of work experience in sales, customer service, or related fields, including relevant military experience
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
- Role is open to US-Based employees only

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate’s degree or trade school certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organization, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience in SAP preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Dispatch or route service experience
- Industry-related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $43,600.00 - $65,400.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
