The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Director- Supply Chain Solutions

Primary Tasks:

- Oversee all acquisition and purchasing activities associated with the Holman Supply Chain (Acquisitions)
- Oversee the development and execution of Holman’s supply Chain customer experience (Service)
- Oversee product design and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain product records accurately
- Set pricing for products to work orders or to distribution network
- Maintain target margin levels through pricing strategies
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to operations in the areas of strategic planning, capacity management, process and throughput, supplier development, and systems designs. (Scheduling/Delivery)
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring that all Company policies and procedures are adhered to by personnel involved with the procurement, purchasing and supply chain functions
- Collaboratively leads and prioritizes needed IT advancements within key systems
- Establishes key performance indicators and uses KPIs to manage, evolve and improve departmental performance and business impact
- Collaborates with other leaders to develop and meet departmental goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects and systems
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the department

- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for direct reports
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution
- Manages departmental budgets set forth in conjunction with organization budgeting
- Trains and develops manager and supervisor level reports, ensuring adequate bench strength is available, or being developed
- Acts a departmental leader for client support and service issues
- Champions culture, teamwork, and morale of the employees within the department
- Effectively builds and/or supports the departmental mission and vision while being mindful of the need to connect back to the overall organizational mission and vision
- Identifies training needs and ensures staff is proper trained and developed
- Actively manages resource requirements including but not limited to: staffing, systems, & space
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- 8+ years’ experience, 5+ years' experience at a leadership level
- Experience as a power user in ERP systems for inventory management and product attributes
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
- Extensive knowledge and experience within own function and general knowledge of areas, departments and/or function(s) within and across other disciplines
- Keen understanding of OEM, dealer and supplier relations, including but not limited to ordering processes, model year transitions, and supplier agreement and activities.
- Keen understanding of what Fleet & Mobility and Manufacturing & Distribution clients expect from an end-to-end supply chain experience. (Service)
- Ability to understand and lead resource loading, identifying and resolving resources allocation issues and resource reporting. (Scheduling & Delivery)

Preferred Education & Experience:

- Master’s degree preferred
- Multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred

Benefits:

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $149,800.00 - $232,195.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
