What You'll Do

As a Chemical Operator, you'll be responsible for safely manufacturing specialty chemical products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with environmental and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

- Operating reactors, pumps, tanks, and related production equipment
- Monitoring production processes and making adjustments as needed
- Weighing and charging raw materials into production vessels
- Transferring products between tanks, vessels, and containers
- Reading and recording process data from instruments and control systems
- Completing production documentation and batch records
- Following GMP, OSHA, and company safety procedures
- Supporting troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives
- Operating forklifts and material handling equipment
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Working closely with engineers, chemists, and production personnel

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who thrive in hands-on industrial environments and take pride in working safely and efficiently. Preferred experience:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or industrial experience
- Experience working with pumps, reactors, tanks, or process equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately
- Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule

Training is available for candidates with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn.

Schedule

Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM Night Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM

- Alternating 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks
- Rotating days and nights
- Approximately one full week off every month
- Average of only 50% of the month worked

Training Period

- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Approximately 4-6 weeks

This is a Contract position based out of Piedmont, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
