We're looking for an experienced Corporate Development Manager to join our Group Corporate Development team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping Bupa's future growth strategy by leading mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities across our global business.
As a Corporate Development Manager , you'll work closely with senior leaders including the CEO, CFO and Group Directors. You'll help identify opportunities that create long-term value, lead the evaluation of potential acquisitions and partnerships, and manage transactions from the early stages through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
As our Corporate Development Manager , you'll:
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to support corporate development decisions across the Group.
- Lead the preparation of briefing papers and recommendations for senior leaders, including the CEO, CFO and Group Directors.
- Build strong relationships with external advisers, business units and group functions to support strategic objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investment activities.
- Lead valuation analysis and assess the potential impact of opportunities on business performance.
- Manage financial due diligence and coordinate wider due diligence activities.
- Support oversight of corporate transactions led by business units across the Group.
- Lead transaction workstreams and manage external advisers with a high degree of autonomy.
- Coach and motivate Associate team members, helping them develop their skills and experience.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a commercially focused Corporate Development Manager with strong transaction experience and the ability to build trusted relationships across a complex organisation.
Skills, qualifications and experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Significant experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, finance, investment banking, professional services or private equity.
- Experience within insurance and/or healthcare would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, valuation and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Experience managing, coaching or motivating team members.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear business recommendations.
- A flexible, organised and proactive approach to work.
