Job Opening: Touch-up Sprayer (Wood Finisher)

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our finishing team on  second shift (2:00PM–10:30PM) . This hands-on, entry-level role supports the production of our high-quality Pilates apparatus. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their skills in wood finishing, HVLP spraying, and spray booth operations while learning from experienced team members

Job Summary: Assist in preparing and finishing wood components, supporting spray booth operations, performing touch‑ups, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. This role is designed for candidates who want to build foundational experience in a production woodshop environment and grow into more advanced finishing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform minor touch-ups and repairs to wood frames using brushes, small spray tools, and sanding blocks

- Assist spray booth operators with prepping, spraying, and moving materials in and out of the booth

- Use basic woodshop tools (e.g., orbital sander, hand tools) to prepare surfaces for finishing

- Learn proper HVLP spraying techniques through on-the-job training

- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe spray booth and work area

- Inspect finished pieces for damage or inconsistencies and report findings

- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Approximately 18 months of spray booth, wood finishing, or related experience. Equivalent experience through training programs, internships, apprenticeships, or trade‑school coursework will be assessed.

- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members

- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

- Comfortable working around spray equipment, finishes, and sanding tools

- Ability to work well independently and as part of a small production team

- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
