Position Summary

The Financial Reporting Analyst partners with Accounting, Operations, and Senior Leadership to drive strong financial performance across the organization. This role emphasizes AI-enabled analytics, advanced reporting, dashboards, and automation to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analytics

- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting packages for leadership, as well as recurring and ad hoc financial reports to external partners, lenders, and other stakeholders

- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners related to financial reporting and analytics

- Analyze trends, variances, and key performance drivers and translate results into actionable insights

AI, Automation & Data Enablement

- Leverage AI tools to automate recurring reports, enhance forecasting accuracy, and accelerate financial analysis

- Create advanced spreadsheets and models integrating AI-driven logic, automation, and dynamic data inputs

Collaboration & Business Support

- Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and community leadership to support decision-making

- Support cash flow forecasting, debt service modeling, occupancy analytics, and KPI tracking

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- Advanced understanding of financial statements

- Advanced Excel skills, including modeling and data analysis

- Minimum of 1 year job experience in finance or accounting

Preferred

- Experience using AI tools for financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting

- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python, and/or dashboard development

- Experience with Yardi or similar ERP systems

- Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 per year DOE
