About the Opportunity

Aston Carter is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Supply Center Specialist to support day-to-day operations within a scientific and laboratory supply environment. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for researchers, laboratory personnel, and procurement teams, ensuring critical products are readily available while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in customer service, inventory management, retail operations, supply chain, or laboratory support who enjoy working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Responsibilities

- Build strong relationships with customers and provide outstanding service by responding to product inquiries and supporting day-to-day supply needs.
- Manage inventory activities, including receiving shipments, unpacking products, restocking shelves, rotating inventory, and conducting audits to maintain accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to ensure timely replenishment and product availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional supply center environment while ensuring merchandising and branding standards are met.
- Assist with implementing product promotions, educational events, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
- Partner with commercial and account management teams to communicate customer feedback, purchasing trends, and market insights.
- Utilize inventory and order management systems to track product usage, place orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze purchasing and inventory trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
- Support training and onboarding activities for new team members as needed.
- Complete all required company training and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, sales, inventory management, supply chain, laboratory support, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between customer locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory, research, healthcare, life sciences, or scientific supply environment.
- Experience with inventory control, merchandising, or retail operations.
- Knowledge of inventory reporting and purchasing trend analysis.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
