Asset Management Analyst
Sentinel Peak Capital Partners is seeking an experienced asset management analyst with strong investor communication skills, high proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of multi-family properties.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset value and financial returns.
2. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of property performance, including income statements, cash flow projections, and budgeting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
3. Market Research:
- Stay abreast of market trends and dynamics affecting the multi-family sector.
- Utilize market research to inform investment and management decisions.
4. Investor Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with investors.
- Provide regular updates on portfolio performance, financial metrics, and strategic initiatives.
- Address investor inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Due Diligence:
- Participate in property acquisition due diligence processes, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Provide insights into potential challenges and opportunities related to new acquisitions.
6. Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on property performance for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Utilize Excel and other tools to create comprehensive and visually appealing reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years + experience in real estate/multi-family asset management.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
Physical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary but requires mobility (i.e. climbing stairs or squatting) to tour and inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time and stooping for brief periods of time. There is some repetitive motion of the hands and wrists associated with using a computer.
