Location: Lehi, UT 84043
Type: Contract (12+ Months, Possible Extension/Conversion)
Pay Rate: $52.81/hr. on W2
Duties:
- Our Global Strategic Sourcing organization plays a meaningful role in enabling innovation, operational excellence, and a world-class employee experience.
- We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist to support a defined scope of strategic sourcing initiatives, partnering closely with category managers, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to drive value through contract negotiation and supplier management.
- This role requires someone who can step in and contribute quickly, with strong financial acumen, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to build the internal documentation that supports sound, well-governed sourcing decisions.
What You'll Do
- Review, redline, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, statements of work, order forms, and amendments, in partnership with Legal and business stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing and rates with suppliers, leveraging market data, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership analysis to secure favorable terms.
- Build financial models and cost analyses to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing structures, and multi-year deal economics, translating findings into clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Develop internal documentation to support the sourcing process, including business justifications, demand requests, and fair market value (FMV) assessments.
- Manage the end-to-end Source-to-Contract lifecycle, including RFx execution, bid analysis, supplier selection, and contract finalization.
- Work directly with external parties (suppliers, vendors, and service providers) to manage relationships, resolve issues, and drive ongoing performance and value.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across business units, Legal, Finance, and category leadership to align sourcing work with business needs.
- Operate effectively amid ambiguity, exercising sound judgment when requirements, priorities, or category strategy are still taking shape.
- Use procurement technology platforms (GEP preferred) to manage sourcing events, contracts, and supplier records, with minimal ramp-up time.
- Track and report sourcing outcomes, including cost savings, service improvements, and supplier performance metrics, against agreed project milestones.
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, or a related function; experience in full cycle procurement would be ideal (onboarding, contracting, sourcing, payments).
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating contracts and rates directly with suppliers.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience building cost models, analyzing pricing structures, and assessing fair market value.
- Experience developing business justifications, demand requests, and related internal governance documentation.
- Working knowledge of Source-to-Contract (S2C) processes and RFx execution.
- Experience with procurement technology platforms; familiarity with GEP is preferred (but not mandatory)
- Comfort working with ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving priorities, with the ability to operate independently and require minimal onboarding.
- Strong track record collaborating with both external suppliers and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive, critical thinker with strong organizational and time-management skills, comfortable delivering against a defined scope of work.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to global sourcing environments and matrixed organizations.
- Experience sourcing across multiple category types (e.g., marketing, professional services and consulting).
- An AI-forward attitude and enthusiasm for using technology to improve productivity and sourcing outcomes.
Education:
- B.S. Finance or Accounting or Supply Chain.
