About this role

Purpose

The purpose of this job is to support the full employee lifecycle of the company and provide the primary human resources contact for employees, managers and 3 rd parties. In keeping with Pratum’s mission:  dedicated to innovative solutions, excellent service, and long-term relationships , this will be a key position to contribute to a positive company culture throughout multiple divisions.

The following are general tasks and responsibilities related to this position, but the position may require other duties and special projects as assigned by the positions manager.

Essential job functions revolve around the employee lifecycle

- Recruiting & onboarding

Facilitate the new hire process with job ads, screenings, applicant tracking.

- Assist hiring managers with interviews, final decisions, candidate communication.

- Conduct onboarding meetings to assimilate new employees.

- Employee Relations

Provide response and resources for employee questions and concerns.

- Assist with issues, complaints, investigations.

- Promote positive employee engagement.

- Benefits Administration

Become the subject matter expert on Pratum’s network of benefits and provide employee support as needed.

- Assist with plan renewals and annual open enrollment.

- Coordinate leave management.

- Performance Management

Support managers in the facilitation of annual performance reviews.

- Assist with training and continuing education.

- Develop and assist with performance improvement plans when necessary.

- Terminations & offboarding

Facilitate smooth offboarding for employment terminations.

- Assist with exit interviews and follow up with managers.

- Assist with retirement, transitions to government retirement benefits.

- Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.

- Maintain personnel files and records.

- Provide audit and regulatory report request responses.

- HR Operations

Maintain the HRIS system with excellent organization and clean data.

- Develop and improve HR processes, assist with policy development and maintenance.

- Provide HR reporting as directed.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education

- Bachelor’s degree is a plus point.

- 5+ years of experience preferred.

- SHRM-CP a plus point.
