P&C Advisor Castrol Mexico CCA

The P&C Advisor Castrol Mexico CCA is part of the Americas P&C team and will support the implementation of the people agenda across Mexico, the Caribbean & Central America (CCA). Based in Mexico and reporting to the Castrol Americas P&C Senior Manager, this role partners closely with business leaders and line managers to ensure the right people policies, processes, tools and systems are in place to have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.

The role is key to supporting business growth within Castrol’s cultural framework, enabling our people to perform at their best while ensuring effective P&C governance, compliance and operational excellence.

Job Summary

- Partner with the P&C Manager, LATAM, to build and implement local P&C strategy plans.
- Represent P&C as a member of the Mexico Country Leadership Team (CLT).
- Provide strategic and operational day-to-day P&C support to the Mexico Market Sales Lead.
- Develop sufficient business knowledge to effectively contribute to critical people-related decisions.
- Engage local line managers in the successful delivery of the talent review cycle for their teams.
- Implement key Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives and programs in partnership with line managers.
- Support experienced business recruiting activities in alignment with Castrol recruiting standards.
- Support team leads with the enrollment and execution of key reward and performance cycle programs and initiatives.
- Facilitate Performance Management processes, ensuring alignment between business and individual results.
- Act as the point of contact for local team leads on employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes and investigations.
- Advise line management on employment regulations, policies and procedures.
- Support line managers in building a positive work environment through open and two-way communication.
- Ensure the accuracy of people data and maintain P&C reports up to date.
- Supervise internship programs and legally required quotas, providing the necessary support and coordination.
- Lead P&C vendor contracts and supplier payments.
- Coordinate new hire induction and onboarding processes.
- Be responsible for employee termination processes.
- Support ISO/TS audits and ensure P&C compliance and controls are aligned with regulatory requirements, company policies and standards.

Qualifications

- Professional experience providing HR/P&C.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and line managers on people-related matters.
- Knowledge of core HR/P&C processes, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, recruitment, reward, onboarding and terminations.
- Understanding of local employment regulations and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting multiple partners and business teams in a vibrant environment.

- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to provide both strategic and operational P&C support.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across different levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence and advise line managers on people-related decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding people data and reporting.
- Ability to prioritize in a demanding operational environment.
- Solid understanding of P&C governance, policies, processes and compliance.
- Ability to support and facilitate talent, performance, reward and Learning & Development initiatives.
- Collaborative perspective with the ability to work effectively as part of the broader Americas P&C team.
