About the role
As our team expands, we are seeking a US-based Specialist, IT Systems Administrator to handle our evolving IT infrastructure, end user computing and employee support requirements. This position plays an essential role in sustaining staff productivity through rapid resolution of technical issues, implementing system enhancements and driving seamless onboarding and offboarding workflows. By streamlining everyday IT service requests and performing continued improvements to IT applications and systems, you will ensure Rothera’s IT services are driving productivity across the organization.
What you’ll do
- Provide multi-channel technical support (Slack, phone, in-person) for hardware, software, networking, and SaaS applications using Jira Service Management.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding by configuring endpoints, provisioning/de-provisioning accounts, and managing asset handoffs.
- Administer core IT systems and implement automations to optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain IT inventory, track equipment lifecycles, and execute hardware ordering.
- Author technical knowledge base articles and conduct IT training for new hires and software rollouts.
What you’ll bring
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT support and systems administration roles.
- Proven proficiency administering key platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and Apple-focused MDM solutions.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic capabilities.
- Solid working knowledge of macOS, iOS, and core networking fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical users.
- Flexibility to travel between office sites and occasionally work night shifts to support international teams.
Benefits & Compensation
This position has a base salary of $110,000-$130,000 per year, plus participation in a discretionary annual incentive bonus program.
