Job Title: Business Process Manager Job Description The Business Process Manager plays a critical role in driving lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices across business processes. - Develop and drive the overall business process management strategy, including process mapping and a structured change management framework to support process improvement initiatives.
- Establish and communicate a clear business process vision, providing strategic direction and leadership to drive Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals.
- Deliver sustainable change by prioritizing strategic business initiatives that maximize business and commercial value.
- Lead and drive large-scale Lean or Six Sigma business transformations across multiple functions and processes.
- Empower and upskill internal teams to build sustainable continuous improvement capability and promote a culture of innovation as part of new and improved ways of working.
- Foster a continual process improvement and Lean Six Sigma culture throughout the organization and serve as a visible champion and role model for change.
- Build and train a strong continuous improvement culture using proven methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Identify end-to-end process improvement opportunities and facilitate the design of new processes that create the greatest value for the organization in terms of customer service, performance excellence, accountability, and compliance.
- Build capabilities across the organization to improve processes, drive efficiencies, and generate measurable financial returns.
- Assist in the design of innovative solutions that enhance financial performance, service delivery, associate and guest satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.
- Assess organizational performance and determine root causes of performance issues, using structured problem-solving and analytical methods.
- Proactively identify and remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of goals and objectives.
- Maintain close relationships with the leadership community to drive support, secure buy-in, and promote transparency around continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with business leaders and process owners to identify, prioritize, and deliver process improvement opportunities.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance on process improvement methodologies and tools to teams across the organization.
- Drive strategic, data-driven decision-making that adds value, contributes to team success, and delivers clear business outcomes.
- Document lean processes, changes, and improvements meticulously, ensuring accurate records of initiatives, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- Prepare and present reports on lean initiatives, performance improvements, and financial impact to management.
- Utilize visual management tools to communicate progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators effectively to stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- 7 years of demonstrated experience with increasing responsibility in developing and implementing successful continuous improvement programs.
- Strong expertise in process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Deep knowledge and practical application of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
- Proven ability to lead large Lean or Six Sigma business transformations.
- Demonstrated capability to assess organizational performance and identify root causes of performance issues.
- Ability to develop and execute business process management strategies, including process mapping and change management frameworks.
- Experience in driving data-driven decision-making and translating analysis into clear business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to serve as a champion and role model for change.
- Ability to train, coach, and upskill teams in continuous improvement practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma or Master Black Belt certification is preferred.
- Experience in a regulated industry developing and implementing process improvements is preferred.
- Experience designing innovative solutions to improve financial and service delivery performance, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with visual management tools and reporting dashboards.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align process improvement initiatives with organizational goals.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with leadership and process owners.
Work Environment This is an onsite position for an experienced Business Process Manager working within a structured business environment that values operational excellence and continuous improvement. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
