Inova Health is looking for a dedicated EPIC Certified Systems Analyst to join the Beacon team. This role is Full-time Days working regular office hours Monday to Friday fully Remote.
This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states – VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.

EPIC Certified Systems Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains and implements EpicCare systems and databases to ensure optimum performance of automated systems. Participates in all phases of review and testing of new Epic application releases.
- Assists in conducting system investigations to determine general feasibility, cost and alternative system solutions as well as potential system enhancements.
- Serves as an applications support contact, as needed, to troubleshoot problems while incorporating end users preferences, desired reports and collecting other relative information to optimize the Epic experience.
- Analyzes business operations as they relate to build decisions. Ensures that data coming across an interface into an Epic application meets business needs.
- Resolves problems, communicates status and escalates issues to management in a timely manner.
- Analyzes IT processes and stays up to date on current programming tools/methodologies.
- Participates in ongoing maintenance of major systems while following all Change Management procedures.
- Determines new procedures for maximizing the benefits achieved through the use of automated systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree OR 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum Experience requirement
- Experience : 1 years of Healthcare Administration experience
- Certification : Epic Beacon Certification within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- obtained Epic Beacon Cert already
