Online Shopping Clerk

Job Purpose:
- The Online Shopping Clerk at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient online shopping experience for customers by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pick-up. This role involves maintaining high standards of quality and customer service while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
- Scan, bag, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pick-up.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Communicate effectively with management about any issues or discrepancies with orders.
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
- Assist in restocking shelves and performing other store duties as needed.
- Ensure fast and accurate processing of orders to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- On-the-job training provided

Preferred Education:
- Some coursework in retail, customer service, or logistics (optional)

Required Experience:
- No prior experience required
- Willingness to learn order picking, scanning, and store layout

Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year of retail, grocery, or warehouse experience
- Experience with POS, scanning devices, or inventory systems
- Knowledge of store layout and product locations
