About this role

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting core HR operations and helping ensure consistent execution of people-related processes across the organization. This role partners with managers and employees on employee relations, onboarding, recruiting coordination, payroll administration, benefits administration, policy administration, compliance support, and HR documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, confidential, and comfortable balancing employee support with business needs. This person should be able to follow through on details, communicate clearly, and help create consistency in HR practices across departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Support employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and timely follow-up.

- Assist managers with HR questions, documentation, policy interpretation, and employee communication.

- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including communication, documentation, and first-day readiness.

- Support recruiting processes, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, and hiring documentation.

- Support payroll administration, payroll changes, and payroll-related follow-up.

- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment support, billing follow-up, employee questions, and vendor coordination.

- Maintain accurate employee records and HR-related documentation.

- Help administer HR processes related to status changes, terminations, benefits, performance documentation, and compliance items.

- Track HR tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items to ensure timely completion.

- Support training, policy rollout, and internal communication related to HR initiatives.

- Assist with employee engagement and retention efforts.

- Help identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.

Qualifications

Required Education

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

- Prior HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or manager-level role. Ideal candidates will have five or more years of direct experience in all areas of human resource management.

- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.

- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

- Knowledge of HR practices, documentation, and employment-related compliance.

- Comfortable working with managers and employees across different departments.

- HRIS and ATS experience is required in platforms such as Paycom, ADP, Bamboo, Paycor, etc..

- HR certification is preferred but not required.
