Experience

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Technical Consultant – Integrations with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex integrations between Oracle EBS and internal/external systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS, SOA & other middleware, APIs, data migration, and system integrations, with a solid understanding of business processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EBS Integration & Development

- Design, develop, and support integration solutions between Oracle EBS and third-party/internal systems.

- Build and maintain integrations using:

- Oracle EBS APIs

- Open Interface Tables

- Web Services – REST, SOAP, WSDL, Oracle PL/SQL

- Oracle SOA Suite, including SOA, OSB and OWSM

- Middleware platforms (e.g., OIC, SOA, MuleSoft, Informatica)

- Develop and enhance custom programs, reports, interfaces, and extensions (RICEFW).

Technical Design & Architecture

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and integration designs.

- Define integration architecture, data mappings, error handling, and reconciliation processes.

- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Oracle SOA Suite, including SOA, OSB, and OWSM.

- Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices , performance standards, and security guidelines.

Data Migration & Synchronization

- Design and execute data migration and synchronization strategies .

- Handle high-volume data loads using SQL*Loader, interfaces, and custom PL/SQL programs.

- Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation across systems.

Support & Troubleshooting

- Provide production support , troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration issues.

- Monitor interfaces, identify failures, and implement corrective actions.

- Work closely with functional teams, DBAs, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with functional consultants to align technical designs with business processes.

- Interact with business users, vendors, and external teams for integration requirements and testing.

- Participate in code reviews, technical walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer sessions.

Documentation & Governance

- Create and maintain:

- Technical design documents

- Integration flow diagrams

- Deployment and support documentation

- Comply with change management, release, and governance processes.

Required Technical/ Functional Competencies

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong experience with Oracle EBS (R12 preferred) .

- Expertise in PL/SQL , SQL, packages, procedures, and performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with:

- Oracle EBS APIs and Open Interfaces

- Inbound and outbound integrations

- XML, JSON, XSD

- Experience integrating Oracle EBS with:

- ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM, or legacy systems

- Cloud or SaaS applications

- Familiarity with middleware tools:

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar

- Oracle SOA Suite components (SOA, OSB, OWSM).

- Experience with:

- Concurrent programs

- Workflow / Alerts

- Reports (XML Publisher / BI Publisher)

Functional Awareness

- Good understanding of Oracle EBS functional areas such as:

- Financials (AP, AR, GL)

- Supply Chain (PO, INV, OM, WIP)

- Manufacturing or HR (added advantage)

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or related field.

- Oracle certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development.

- At least 5 years focused on system integrations .

- Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex integration landscapes.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and EBS-to-Cloud integrations.

- Knowledge of EBS upgrades , patches, or migrations.

- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
