About this role

Responsibilities

- Manage procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery, supply continuity, and optimal inventory levels.

- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving improvements in quality, delivery performance, and overall supplier effectiveness.

- Lead sourcing and purchasing activities, including RFQs, RFIs, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, contract management, and procurement decision-making.

- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery, quality, logistics, and payment issues.

- Implement and optimize procurement systems, tools, and processes to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.

- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data within SAP and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.

- Support inventory management through forecasting, planning, and supplier rescheduling activities.

- Provide guidance and coaching to junior buyers while supporting team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health & safety, legal, and corporate governance requirements.

- Act as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or new product introduction (NPI) environments.

- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, sourcing strategies, and inventory control.

- Proficiency in SAP; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Macro, or other analytics tools is preferred.

- Excellent supplier negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coordinating projects, leading commodity initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering results.

- Good command of written and spoken English.
