Kids Country Child Care & Learning Center is hiring for multiple teaching positions in our infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age classrooms. Whether you are an experienced Lead Teacher, an Assistant Teacher, or currently working toward a degree in education, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

Current Openings

- Lead Toddler Teacher: Full-time, approximately 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

- Preschool Assistant Teachers: Full-time, approximately 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

- Opening-Shift Assistant Teacher: Full-time, 5:45 a.m.–2:45 p.m.

- Infant Room Assistant Teacher: Part-time, primarily 12:30–5:30 p.m.; some flexibility is available, and full-time hours may be possible.

- Float Assistant Teachers: Part-time schedules available, including Tuesday–Thursday from 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m. and Monday–Friday from 1:30–6:00 p.m.

Full-time positions may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the position and classroom assignment, responsibilities may include:

- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

- Planning or assisting with activities such as art, science, music, movement, games, and outdoor play

- Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

- Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

- Assisting in classrooms and providing coverage for breaks, vacations, and absences

- Participating in field trips, campus events, and intergenerational activities

- Maintaining required classroom records and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements

- Supervising and supporting classroom staff, when applicable

Qualifications

Qualifications vary by position. Ideal candidates will:

- Be at least 18 years old

- Have experience working in a licensed child care center or educational setting

- Meet Minnesota Rule 3 requirements for the applicable Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher position

- Have completed qualifying college coursework in education or a related field, or be currently working toward a degree

- Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified

- Demonstrate patience, dependability, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with children

Compensation

$15.71–$21.33 per hour , depending on the position, education, qualifications, and experience.
