About this role
Key Accountabilities:
- Work the track ie screen, pack, open using tractors and or trucks
- Winter use dump trucks to remove snow
- Work loader, Grader to clean up and put stone down in dump trucks
- Look after all property maintenance including but not limited to; grass cutting and weed whacking, trimming bushes, tree removal and pruning, watering flowers, picking up garbage on property
- Clean ship and Lasix barn, muck stalls
- Power wash all tracks equipment and vehicles
- Build up screens (welding)
- Snow ploughing, salting roads and walkways, shovelling sidewalks and clearing snow on all property
- Keeping Maintenance shop clean and organized.
- Any other duties as assigned
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Health & Safety
- Safe equipment training
- Able to operate loaders and all equipment
- Must be able to work around horses
- Some knowledge of the horse racing industry preferred
