About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to support U.S. Army supply chain operations at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This role is ideal for an Army logistics professional who can translate supply chain data into practical improvements, lead analytical work, and help improve inventory and distribution performance.
We are also recruiting a Program Manager through this announcement. Applicants with substantial government contract management and leadership experience may be considered for that separate position. We intend to select candidates for two positions from this applicant pool. You may apply for the Senior Logistics Analyst position, the Program Manager position, or both.
Senior Logistics Analyst Responsibilities
- Lead logistics analysis and process improvement activities supporting Army supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Apply Army logistics knowledge and hands-on Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) experience to assess operational issues.
- Support inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, and transportation optimization.
- Develop clear findings, reports, and briefings to support operational decisions.
- Direct and mentor junior logistics analysts.
- Coordinate with program leadership and Government stakeholders to support performance objectives.
Required Qualifications - Senior Logistics Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of Army logistics experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on LMP experience.
- Knowledge of Army supply regulations, inventory management, and transportation optimization.
- Ability to evaluate logistics data and communicate practical recommendations.
- Ability to lead analytical work and guide junior staff.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and meet applicable contract access requirements.
- Ability to work primarily on-site at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Additional Opportunity - Program Manager
Applicants interested in the Program Manager position should demonstrate experience leading government contracts and geographically dispersed teams.
The Program Manager will serve as the primary Government point of contact and be responsible for overall contract management, performance, quality, safety, and personnel oversight. The position will be based at Redstone Arsenal and will oversee support that includes analytical operations at Redstone Arsenal and warehouse operations at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Required qualifications for Program Manager consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain.
- At least 10 years of experience managing government contracts.
- At least 5 years of Army logistics experience.
- Expertise in FAR/DFARS requirements, quality control, and workforce leadership.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed personnel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and meet applicable contract access requirements.
- Ability to work primarily on-site at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Applicants seeking only the Senior Logistics Analyst position do not need to meet the additional Program Manager qualifications.
