Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire editorial process for high-stakes technical documentation, ensuring stylistic consistency across large-scale programs
- Mentor junior staff
- Transform raw data and engineering jargon into authoritative documents that meet the stringent requirements of the agency, including reference checking, fact checking, and ensuring copyright compliance
- Verify technical accuracy and ensure compliance with agency style guides for all documents, reports, and manuals
- Manage the full lifecycle of a document from outline to final publication including online and web publishing
  Required Skills and Experience
- 10 or more years of supervisory and project management experience
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
Professional Certifications None required Years of Professional Experience 10 years of total professional experience Desired experience Transportation experience, especially in highway and surface transportation is preferred Formal Education Master’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, or a technical field Citizenship Requirement U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity Security Clearance Requirements Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) CRITICAL NOTES:
