Acupuncturist

Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Acupuncture Service Centre is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Acupuncturist to join our growing team.

This is an opportunity to practise acupuncture within a tertiary hospital across both outpatient and inpatient settings, working closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams in the care of patients with a range of clinical conditions.

This is a full-time contract position, with the opportunity to grow with the service as it continues to develop.

Beyond clinical practice, our service is actively developing new models of care and clinical programmes, with a longer-term focus on the safe, evidence-based integration of TCM within hospital care. We are looking for someone who is keen not only to grow clinically, but also to contribute to the development of the service as it continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, professional and patient-centred acupuncture care across inpatient and outpatient settings

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support service data and outcomes monitoring

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in the management of patients

- Contribute to clinical improvement, research and service development initiatives

- Participate in education, continuing professional development, and hospital or public engagement activities

Requirements

- Qualified TCM Physician/Acupuncturist registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), with a valid practising certificate

- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English

- Interest in practising within a tertiary hospital and multidisciplinary healthcare environment

- Keen to learn and contribute to the continued development and integration of TCM within hospital care
