In this position...

The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

Brake calipers are one of the most safety-critical and high-value components in any vehicle — and the person in this role will own the commercial strategy that brings them to life. As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer for Brake Calipers , you'll lead high-stakes negotiations, shape long-term supplier partnerships, and directly influence how Ford balances cost, quality, and innovation as the industry shifts toward electric vehicles. This is a strategic, high-visibility role with the autonomy to negotiate major global contracts and shape our future supplier network — giving you the space to focus on big-picture commercial value creation rather than day-to-day plant operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA or master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.

Solid understanding of automotive supplier cost structures (materials, labor, overhead, and manufacturing processes such as casting and machining).
- Ability to translate complex financial and commodity data into clear, actionable sourcing strategies for leadership. Top of FormBottom of Form
