About this role
The purpose of the ICLA Assistant– Yemen Amran Area/ Hodiedah Gov position is to ensure the qualitative implementation of NRC’s ICLA programme in targeted locations, while maintaining safe, inclusive, and accountable protection practices. At the field-operational level, the Officer supports the day-to-day implementation of programme activities and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
A critical aspect of the role monitoring, and mentoring implementation of ICLA and ensuring that they deliver services effectively, uphold humanitarian standards, and apply NRC’s accountability and protection principles. The assistant contributes to programme quality, compliance with donor requirements, evidence-based programming, and effective coordination to ensure quality service delivery.
- University degree in law.
- Minimum o f 2 years of work experience with legal firms, NGO or international organization in the area of protection or human rights.
- Experience from working as legal & Protection employee in a humanitarian/recovery context in Yemen.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position's responsibilities
- At least 1 years of working experience in legal field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suites
- Preferred: knowledge of English language.
