About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for Electronic Technician for Engineering Department to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar .
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, AV/VA systems, control systems, and related devices.
- Read and interpret electronic drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Diagnose electronic faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Inspect and test electronic systems, PAVA equipment, AV/VA systems, sensors, controllers, and related components.
- Replace or repair defective electronic components, circuit boards, sensors, relays, and wiring.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electronic, AV/VA equipment and PAVA equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 1 or 2 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property.
- Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification in Electronics preferred.
- Strong technical skills in electronics, PAVA equipment, AV/VA systems, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
- Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
