Onsite – Baguio City, PH
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Assures reliability and making the most out of manufactured and/or purchased parts being used for various Moog applications.  Chemical processing is responsible for chemical cleaning, treatments and coatings which can help in extending the lives of metals and ensuring the safety of people using the material.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform Aqueous Cleaning as per EP 3628

2. Load and unload parts on fixtures/ Baskets

3. Label chemicals

4. Conduct system test as per engineering procedures using different laboratory apparatus like hydrometer, thermometer, PH meter, timer, and other measuring instruments which shall be used for alodine and passivation, and other processes requiring measuring instrument.

5. Operate grit blaster for etching

6. Masking and demasking of parts

7. Conduct the following chemical processes with guidance from Chemical Process Operator II.

- Alodine
- Passivation
- De-rusting
- Desmutting
- Temper Etch/nital etch
- Pre-penetrant Etch
- Metalast Coating
- Brush Zinc Nickel Plating
- Iridite 80 Coating

EDUCATION

- Chemical Technology graduate or at least 2nd  year related Engineering

EXPERIENCE

- With 1 year experience in fields working with chemicals and procedures
