Revolution is now hiring for a Plant Manager to lead operations at our Mesquite, TX facility. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations and ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and consistently. The Plant Manager will provide leadership across production, maintenance, quality, safety, and workforce development. This position will focus on improving plant performance, managing resources, developing employees, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service.
The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader who is comfortable working directly with plant teams, solving operational challenges, and holding teams accountable for results. Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all plant operations, including extrusion, converting, maintenance, quality, and shipping.
- Build and reinforce a safety-first culture with strong accountability and follow-through.
- Drive production performance, efficiency, and waste reduction across all departments.
- Develop and hold accountable a team of salaried department managers and frontline leaders.
- Improve attendance, staffing stability, and workforce engagement.
- Partner with HR, finance, and operations leadership on staffing, cost control, and performance management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, scrap reduction, and uptime.
- Oversee and prioritize maintenance strategy and preventive maintenance execution.
- Manage plant-level financial performance, including labor, material usage, and operating costs.
- Support and execute capital projects that improve safety, capacity, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 7–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience , including multi-shift operations.
- Experience in film extrusion, plastics, or converting environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead both hourly and salaried teams in a high-volume operation.
- Strong background in Lean, continuous improvement, and performance management.
- Solid financial acumen with experience managing plant-level budgets and cost drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to build teams, drive accountability, and improve culture.
