We are looking for a proactive, charismatic person to join our Retail Salesperson team in Gore and work on our Saturday Roster.

You'll work with a friendly, high-performing team where everyone looks out for each other; teamwork and the ability to build relationships are key to this role. We are looking for a Retail Salesperson who will proactively approach every customer and deliver a true retail customer experience. This role is a Saturday weekend shift.

You will bring your rural knowledge and retail expertise to the position. You will provide exceptional customer service and advice to our shareholders and customers in-store, across a wide range of rural supplies & products.

You will be working 9 am to 4 pm, 7 hours per week, each Saturday.

We are looking for an individual with rural retail experience who is genuinely excited about the opportunity to join Farmlands Gore.

You will also bring:

- Genuine desire to deliver first-class customer service.

- Commitment to the role and the Saturday hours.

- A dedicated and capable retail sales professional who is passionate about selling while providing excellent customer advice and support.

- Experience in retail would ensure you are set up for success.

- Self-motivated, show initiative, confident and a very strong team player.

- An interest and knowledge of farming practices and seasonality.

- An empathy and understanding of the rural sector.

- Strong computer skills and able to learn new systems will set you up for success.

(namely our ‘Point of Sale and D365 Ops)

- Physical fitness and be comfortable lifting and carrying stock.

- Clean Full Driver Licence & Forklift licence (preferred; however, full training provided)
