The Opportunity

As the Senior Business Analyst - eCom Investment and Benefits, you will help direct and analyse Australia's premier digital and eCom infrastructure pipeline, including state-of-the-art automated fulfillment centers. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor, you will perform complex investment evaluations to guide high-stakes capital allocation decisions and measure long-term performance. Your insights will directly shape the group’s digital transformation, operational efficiency, and overall competitive strategy.

What you'll do

- Lead complex investment analysis for multi-million dollar capital projects to support endorsement by senior executive stakeholders.
- Evaluate the post-implementation operational performance of strategic investments, identifying trends and key insights.
- Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to develop course-correction strategies when investments fall short of target outcomes.
- Translate dense financial modelling into clear, high-impact presentation decks for non-financial leaders across eComX, Primary Connect, and W-Digital.
- Manage routine financial controls for capital investments, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
- Analyse overall commercial viability for digital projects, including cost-to-serve models and capacity/demand metrics.

What you’ll bring

- Proven expertise in advanced financial modelling, commercial analysis, and strategic problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related field, alongside CA or CPA certification (or active progress towards completion).
- Exceptional project management capabilities with the ability to balance multiple complex deliverables simultaneously.
- Commercial acumen coupled with a customer-first mindset and a passion for retail innovation.
- Collaborative attitude suited to working across varied business units and matrixed organisational structures.
