Details of the Division and Team:

ICG is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks.

In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia. We are looking for a salesperson based in Singapore to focus on FX products on both the cash and derivatives space.

Responsibilities

- Handle client queries and manage tasks related to pre-trade and post-trade operations
- Facilitate electronic FX setup of institutional clients in North Asia
- Support regional team across Asia ex Japan Australia in electronic client coverage
- Work in partnership with voice sales team on client relationship management of key accounts to achieve revenue and market share goals.

- Prospecting for new client electronic business within coverage base, sell/present DB supported platforms to meet clients requirements (including origination and onboarding as per DB policies)
- Leverage knowledge of Deutsche Bank’s eCommerce product and trading relationships to provide clients with bespoke workflow solution to meet their needs in order to gain wallet share and relevance.
- Work closely with the trading team across Spot, Forward, Options, Segregated Execution (algos, fixings) on optimization and analysis of client flows.
- Share and collaborate with team and trading on product development ideas to enhance Deutsche Bank’s electronic platform.
- Perform regular client reviews and visits with pro-active follow up
- Represent Deutsche Bank at conferences and industry presentations.

Other Requirements

- Bachelors Degree with a minimum 5 years relevant eFX experience
- Well versed in eFX platforms/market/vendors
- Understand eFX market developments and translate relevant trends into client opportunities and product requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership and drive issues to resolution.
- Confident client communicator with effective stakeholder and project management skills.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams to deliver client onboarding, platform optimization, and execution enhancements.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret trading data, identify execution opportunities, and drive measurable improvements in client outcomes.
- Business fluency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations in both languages.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with a track record of managing institutional client relationships and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex electronic trading concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and consistently deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
