Description:
The role is responsible for supporting the design, planning, and construction of facility-related infrastructure projects, with a focus on boiler systems, steam utilities, and energy operations. The role supports maintenance of boilers, auxiliary equipment, machinery, buildings, and facility utilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The position assists in planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility and boiler-related modifications, including estimating equipment, labor, materials, and operational costs. The role helps coordinate facility space allocation, utility layouts, communication services, and expansion projects, ensuring optimal steam distribution and system reliability. The position also supports health and safety standards implementation, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and continuous improvement, contributing to operational efficiency, facility reliability, and sustainable energy management.
Essential Functions:
- Support daily boiler operation and maintenance activities
- Assist in steam distribution and monitoring of pressure and temperature parameters
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting & repair of boiler systems
- Support preventive & predictive maintenance and shutdown activities
- Assist in maintenance planning & execution for utilities equipment
- Support combustion efficiency optimization and fuel usage monitoring
- Assist in heat recovery systems and energy efficiency initiatives
- Follow safety regulations, safety and fire protection systems, and SOPs
- Support utilities management including steam and water systems
- Maintain technical documentation, logs, and compliance records
- Assist in vendor management & procurement for spare parts and services
- Support quality & audit readiness and regulatory inspections
Additional Responsibilities:
Education:
- 1st Class Certified Boiler operator
- Undergraduate ITI - Required
Experience:
- 5 year or more in 5-10 Years
