Responsibilities / Tasks

GEA Systems North America, LLC seeks an Installation Planner in Oakdale, MN to prepare, review, and validate installation cost estimate calculations for final sales proposals. Prepare, review, and maintain installation schedules and required installation documentation for projects. Work with Project Managers and Supply Chain on the selection of installation vendors. Work with global teams on the preparation of installation standards. Work with project teams on the preparation of installation bid packages. Provide support to project teams for installation claim management. Monitor installation status on a weekly basis. This is a hybrid position with 35% domestic and international travel requirement.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Requirements to include: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 60 months of experience in the job offered or related food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry. Must have special skills or requirements in coordinating activities concerned with installation scope and resolving engineering design and test problems; providing schedule information to overall project managers and participating in internal and external scheduling review meetings; evaluating and approving installation design changes, specifications, and drawing releases; monitoring expenditures within limitations of installation project budget; and working knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project.
