About this role
The Feed Mill Intern will assist in the daily operations of the feed mill, gaining hands on experience in the feed manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures. This role provides exposure to inventory management, equipment operation, and compliance with regulatory standards. The intern will work closely with mill operators and managers to ensure efficient production and delivery of high quality feed products.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with daily feed mill operations, including ingredient handling and feed production.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collect and prepare feed samples for quality assurance testing.
- Support inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished feed.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the mill to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Observe and follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Document production data and assist with reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with mill operators and managers on process improvements.

Qualifications
What You'll bring:
- Some College
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license
Working conditions:
May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery. May be required to work long hours, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
