As a Government & Regulatory Affairs Professional, you will have responsibility for the political, legislative, regulatory, and administrative dimensions of assigned public policy issues at various levels of government and globally. You will provide strategic and tactical program development, planning, execution, guidance, and support to ensure public policy objectives are met. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Drive Public Policy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to influence public policy and regulatory decisions, collaborating with government officials, policymakers, and key business units to achieve business objectives. • Analyze Complex Situations: Assess and interpret complex or new situations, legislation, regulations, and administrative actions, and develop innovative solutions or new approaches to resolve public policy and regulatory challenges. • Lead External Collaboration: Take leadership in teaming with other professionals and business groups/associations on tactical and strategic decisions affecting public policy development and implementation. • Develop Regulatory Proposals: Create budgetary, legislative, and regulatory proposals and language to support public policy objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer guidance and support to ensure public policy objectives are aligned with business objectives and met through effective program development and execution. • Deep Expertise in Public Policy Development: Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans to influence public policy and regulatory decisions at national, sub-national, and global levels. • Experience with Complex Regulatory Analysis: Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex or new situations, legislation, regulations, and administrative actions, and develop innovative solutions or new approaches to resolve public policy and regulatory challenges. • Leadership in External Collaboration: Established experience in leading collaborations with government officials, policymakers, key business units, and other professionals to achieve business objectives and drive public policy development. • Strategic Program Development: Proven expertise in providing strategic guidance and support to ensure public policy objectives are aligned with business objectives and met through effective program development and execution. • Regulatory Proposal Development: Experience in creating budgetary, legislative, and regulatory proposals and language to support public policy objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Global Public Policy Knowledge: Deep understanding of global public policy development, including national, sub-national, and international regulatory frameworks and institutions. • Advanced Regulatory Analysis: Experience with complex regulatory analysis, including interpreting and applying regulatory requirements to drive business outcomes. • Multistakeholder Engagement: Established ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, and industry leaders, to shape public policy and regulatory decisions.
