Basic Function / General Description:
· Electrical system integration design for elevator application.
· On-site support for product debugging and qualification base on Otis standard.
Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:
As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Translate the product/code requirement to the engineer design specification.
· Design of elevator system integration like key components (controller, drive) integration and new feature extension
· Demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation)
· Develop and execute the test plan
· Verify/qualify the design
· Trouble shooting in the lab, hoistway or jobsite.
· Documentation of engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, user’s manuals etc)
· Coordinate with other functions to ensure program success
· Perform other duties as assigned and requested

· Correct and efficient performance of the tasks with sense of ownership
· Complete the job on target with respect to quality, time, and cost
· Support others to achieve departmental objectives
· Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change.
· Innovative mind set for continuous study of the new technology of the electrical industry and capable of demonstrating the concept and implementing in the product.
Work experience & skills requirements:
· Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of design experience with Master’s degree or 4 years with Bachelor’s degree preferred.
o Design experience on
§ Architecture of controller on power, grounding, communication, etc.
§ Electrical components/Harness/Layout design for complex electrical components/devices based on system requirements.
§ Wiring diagram of complex electrical components/devices.
o Electrical system debug experience is preferred
o Working experience in global company or elevator industry is preferred
· Language:
o CET-6 and above. Good in written and oral English
· Computer Skills:
o ECAD tool for wiring diagram （E3 is preferred）
o Microsoft office tool set
· Other Key Competencies:
o Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented
o Leading capability with cross function coordination.
o Well multi-task management. And people management experience is preferred.
o Creative, open-minded, smart and energetic
o Good interpersonal and communication skills
o Quick response/adjustment under the dynamic environment.
o Logical thinking and pro-active
o Resilience that can working under stress.
· Other Preferred Experiences:
o Electrical circuit design, Component selection, qualification, EMI/EMC related working experience.
o General knowledge on Elevator industry is preferred
o Experiences in VF Application
o Familiar with the Safety Certification by TUV/CSA is preferred.
Educational Requirements
· Education: Bachelor or above in Automation or Electrical Engineering
